Jennifer & Andrew's Possum Point Farm Wedding

My oh my what a beautiful Eastern Shore fall wedding! Down to every detail Andrew and Jen displayed their love for the water and fishing.

Andrew's parents moved a couple houses down from Jennifer's parent's house in 2009. Soon after, Jen's brother started working for Andrew as a mate for his fishing charter business. Jen's brother worked for him for several years and still they never really got to know one another. They met during the summer of 2017 and quickly jumped into a relationship. She was currently living in Florida when they met and soon after moved back to Maryland in September of that year. Their relationship progressed pretty quickly but it just felt like something they were both ready for and on the same page about. Jen moved in with Andrew somewhere between the end of that year and early into the following year.

It didn't take long for Andrew to realize he loved Jen. Their instant connection was undeniable. cant say there was an exact time that he knew she was the one, but more that he always knew she was the one that he did not want to live without.

"Even after only getting to see him a few times it felt hard leaving to go back to Florida. We had hit it off so quickly and felt so comfortable around one another from the start that it was definitely different than any relationship I had had in the past. Even with us just talking for a few weeks, he had sent me a card to Florida for my birthday with a print of the first picture we had taken together from when I was in Maryland. I was amazed at how sweet and thoughtful he was (I still have that card ). We talked on the phone every night and I then knew I wanted to move back to Maryland to see where things could go with us. I was set on finding a job first before moving for whatever reason and I let that hold me back from moving right away. I came back to Maryland for a job interview and even though it ended up not being the job for me, I knew I didn't want to be in Florida anymore just waiting for the right job and that the right job would come when I was back in Maryland with him. I flew back to Florida knowing that it would be the last time I would leave him again. I moved back in September and on the day he picked me up from the airport he told me he loved me and I told him I loved him too but I think we both knew we had been waiting to say it for a while but it meant so much more to say it in person." - Jen

Andrew and Jennifer were going on a planned vacation down to Florida with her parents. Jen's parents were already down there and picked them up from the airport when they arrived. They headed back to the condo and immediately went down to the beach. Jen's parent's later went back up to the condo and Andrew asked Jen if she wanted to go on a walk on the beach. They went on a short walk on the beach and as they were getting back to their chairs on the beach, he hugged her, told her he loved her and pulled out the ring from his pocket as he asked her if she would marry him. Already in shock, they turned to walk up to the condo to tell her parent's and realized them, along with Andrew's parents, who flew down to surprise her, were coming down to meet them on the beach.

They are very close with the owners of their venue Possum Point Farm, Andrew hunts out of there during the fall/winter and they often go there to spend time with John and Paige (owners). They chose to get married outdoors and on the water because it is what they both love and the nautical/eastern shore theme represents both of their interests, lifestyles and careers. Several of their decorations and accessories for the wedding were fishing themed representing Andrew's fishing charter business and Jen's profession in fisheries management. Jen even included a beautiful bracelet from Italy that was her Grandmothers.

I am so blessed to have gotten to spend time with this couple and get to know them as well as share their sweet love story. I even got to see 2 of my past brides as guests! Jen and Andrew are such amazing down to earth people and I only wish them the best in life together! Congratulations!!!!
