Rachel & Greg's summer wedding at Osprey Point Inn was so full of love, laughter and dancing! They couldn't have had better weather and beautiful end of summer blooms.
Greg & Rachel met summer of 2012, they quickly became friends and later into more! They met through coaching together for a high school rowing team.
They have a very special group that they've coached since they were freshmen freshman \ When they were freshmen Rachel made a deal that was nearly impossible for them to come through on. She told them if they won the National Championship, they could be Rachel's bridesmaids. They won that year and then their sophomore and junior year (for Greg). Their senior year before the race, Greg told them that if they won he would propose on the medals dock. They did and Rachel was beyond blown away by the proposal.
Max and Kazak their sweet pups joined in on this special day and they were so so good!
They both included elements of their culture into their wedding day. Culture was a big part of Rachel's life growing up. Greg Chinese and Canadian and Rachel's Turkish and Hebrew background.
Rachel's Grandfather's Talit was put up as the roof of their handmade chuppah which was made out of special rowing oars. They had many other heirloom details throughout the day. Her sweet Mama made all the florals.
During the ceremony when they asked Rachel if she takes Greg to be her husband she yelled F*** YEAH and everyone was shocked and cracking up and her poor mothers face... well you can see that below! HAHA.
Thank you both for allowing us to be apart of such a fun and unique day and telling your super fun love story! Congratulations to you both!!!!!!
